My Meditation For Him

We should meditate of Him but we should also meditate for Him. It is an important way to serve Him. Meditating on what He wants us to meditate on will bring blessings. As I get older and even for young people there are many things we cannot do for the Lord. I hope and pray I will never lose or give up the capability and opportunity He gives me to think what He wants me to think.

Psalms 19:14: Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Psalms 141:3: Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.

A very wise prayer: Set a watch O LORD, before my mind, keep the door of my thoughts.

Psalms 139:23: Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: 24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

The wicked ways in us begin in our thoughts. My pastor has wisely said more than once that our sin begins in our thoughts.

Proverbs 23:7a: For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:

Romans 12:1: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

2 Corinthians 10:5: Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Ephesians 1:18: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 4:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

Philippians 4:8: Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Colossians 1:21: And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
